With August here and the days (and water) nice and warm, we decided to take a few days during the month for canoe exploration. This was our first canoe trip with Daniel's parent (just for the afternoon), down at Fishing Creek, near where his parent's live.

It was a perfect day for canoeing and the scenery was beautiful!

I hadn't canoed much before, so Daniel was sure to put me in the back for part of the trip, so I could learn to steer too.
