First weekend in October found us traveling to North Carolina for a nature seminar. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from it. From there we drove straight to Nashville, TN for Israel and Kyla's outdoor wedding reception. It was cold, but hearts were warm!

The ceremony was short, but very meaningful, spiritual and special.

Cutting the cake -- it was a very yummy cheesecake.

Kyla and Israel's family

We spent an extra day camping at Israel and Kyla's property, and came back home in time to give David one day to pack. Then we drove to Atlanta to take David and Esther to the airport. Saying goodbye was SO hard! Pray for them as they work in India/Nepal!

On our way back, we stopped in Chattanooga to visit Timothy and get in on one meeting of SEYC. Listening to Timothy's orchestra practice was lots of fun!

For our 7th month anniversary, we celebrated by a special candlelit dinner at home, and Daniel gave Kristina a dozen roses (first ones since our engagement!).

The second day Erick was here, we had our very first cooking class. (Our classes are still going on the third Tuesday of every month). Here Kristina is demonstrating gluten-free, dairy-free waffles.

Smile, Kristina!

Taking a short-cut route back down the arch (a little more adventurous!)

Thursday we hiked down in TN at Honey Creek, about 1.5 hours from our house.

One of the many bridges we crossed.
