Our Engagement: March, 2008

Daniel McFeeters and Kristina Reeve Setting out on a journey together, each day to discover more of God's treasures as we work together for Him. Many are the ways God has used to bring us together. It's not always easy to be separated by many miles, yet our fondest memories involve the different vehicles and ways that God has used to bring us together.

Daniel McFeeters and Kristina Reeve Our minds and hearts are being knitted together. What a joy it has been to realize how closely we compliment each other in our interests and abilities, and most of all in our passion for the Lord! As, together, we rest upon the solid rock beneath us, so we pray our lives may be grounded solidly upon Jesus Christ, the Rock of our salvation.

Daniel McFeeters and Kristina Reeve As the sun rises and casts its glittering rays across the mountains of northeast Washington, so in our lives may "the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings." Solomon said that "Two are better than one." We pray that as the Lord has brought us together, He may use our lives to be an encouragement to others. Together we may press on the upward way, striving daily to live for Him who has given His all for us.

Our Year of Engagement

Daniel and Kristina on bridge In April and May, Kristina and Elisabeth were on their Discovering His Treasures summer speaking tour in Arkansas. Their next set of meetings was scheduled for Kentucky, so Daniel had the privilege of driving out to pick them up! This gave Kristina a chance to give Daniel and Elisabeth a tour of Hot Springs.

Walking through the flowering shrubs together was such a blessing as we enjoyed the wonders of God's creation!

Daniel and Kristina by hot springs

Kristina was SO happy to be able to take Daniel to the Hot Springs where she used to hike every Sabbath afternoon while attending college at OHC!

Daniel's family

Daniel, Kristina, and Elisabeth arrived in Kentucky just in time for Andrew's graduation! Here is Daniel's whole family, along with 2 of his grandparents and Kristina.

There were a couple seminars close by Daniel's family, giving us a chance to spend some time together. It was so much fun spending Sabbath afternoon outdoors looking for new object lessons!

Daniel and Kristina in Nebraska

At the end of Kristina and Elisabeth's speaking tour, they went back to Kentucky just in time to drive to Nebraska with Daniel for Kristina's family reunion. Her parents took this picture.

Kristina finally was able to fly back to Kentucky for a two week visit in October. Not only did she get to spend Daniel's birthday with him, but they bought a house, shopped around, and explored the area around their new home! Daniel's Dad took this picture.
