Kristina drove to Nebraska for a funeral. She enjoyed spending time with the Thomas family, though sad it was under those circumstances.

The next day, Kristina and Justina spent some time shopping together. They even bought matching shirts!
They also browsed through Thousand Villages and looked at some neat musical instruments from other countries.
Back at home, another one of Kristina's yummy meals.
It was fun spending Sabbath afternoon just the two of us, watching birds at the feeder. We took several hundred pictures, and a couple actually turned out!

Dwarf Rattlesnake Plantain (Goodyera Repens) growing on rocks beside the trail. This is an endangered species and is very rare in Kentucky.

A Downy Rattlesnake Plantain (Goodyera pubescens) growing nearby. This is a relatively common orchid, but no relation to the plantain that grows in the lawn.

On the morning of Daniels birthday, Kristina sent Daniel out on a bike ride so she could do stuff without him around.
He had fun exploring the woods.

The we had a fun hike in the national forest behind our property.

On Monday, the sun was just getting low on the horizon while Kristina was driving home from work.
