May found us a little more moved in and settled, and getting back into the routine of work and Discovering His Treasures ministry. But we always tried to go hiking at least once or twice every week. Here is a view from an overlook at Yahoo Falls.
The massive rock walls at Yahoo Falls make you feel really small.
Here is Yahoo Falls. It's too tall to get the whole thing in one picture!
Note the size of the man standing in the falls.
Yahoo Falls is the tallest waterfall in the State of Kentucky, measuring at 112 feet.
You can walk right to the top too! Here's looking straight down...
This is the top of the falls. It's just a little creek that runs off the edge!
Another shot looking straight down.
View of the top of the falls from a distance.
We love having candle-lit suppers together!
Daniel building shelves into our pantry. Now we're ready to start canning!
Lots and lots of rain during the month of May, brought even more flooding to Cumberland Falls. The roar was deafening!
It was so neat seeing the falls come nearly right over your head and seeing underneath!
Lots of rain also brought lots of Tornados. (Picture taken just for laughs)
More interesting bug critters.
Hiking to Eagle Falls was a bit of a challenge with part of the trail underwater!
Blazing the bushes above the trail.
The view from above the falls changed quite a bit!
More of the stairs at Eagle Falls trail.
Look at the falls now!
Daniel and Kristina at their favorite viewpoint.
Claws adventures with a chipmunk (who outsmarted the cat and eventually escaped).
Ever felt like your prize was just out of reach?
How thin of a branch will still hold the cat?
Hanging by her back paws, she finally nicked the branch, sending chipmunk flying!
We packed the car with five people, luggage, and three ice chests, and drove 12 hours to Arkansas for OHC Graduation.

Part of OHC campus.
Pastor Terry and Jean came back to visit for another week. Pastor Terry helped Daniel build a black-light chalk board and gave Daniel chalk drawing lessons.
One of the pictures they drew.
