Lighting a campfire--everything was wet from the rain, and Daniel got tired after blowing on it for 20 minutes!

But with Ernie's battery-powered air mattress blower, the fire was soon roaring to life! Who would have thought?

Sabbath Breakfast of couscous and home-dried veggies. Yummy! For Sabbath we paddled into the wildlife refuge so we could have peace and quiet. We talked, read, and shared together until sundown, then came back to camp for vespers.

Sunday morning, we got up early enough to watch the sunrise and see the mist rising off the lake before breakfast!
