Erick going up tallest ladder we had to climb (we had to come back DOWN it too!)
It's safe! You can come up now!
One of the many little waterfalls we saw along the way.
The trail goes right through that crack.
Hello down there!
Ladder up to the biggest Indian Rock House along the trail. We ate lunch inside there.
View from inside the shelter. It was really neat!
Another pretty little waterfall.
Notice how many trees are growing on top of the rock?
One tree (growing on top of the rock) fell over partway, but some of its roots were able to keep it on. The moss covering its roots created a cave, so Erick climbed in!
Then he took a picture of the inside!
Honey Creek Falls
The end of the trail.... we're tired, but happy! It was a strenuous 6 mile hike, but very pretty and lots of fun!
Erick and Kristina hiked at Cumberland Falls and Eagle Falls on Friday, while Daniel worked at a client's office. This is Cumberland Falls with the fall colors.
Hiking along the Eagle Falls Trail.
View of Cumberland Falls with the fall colors, from our favorite viewpoint along the trail.
