We finally put up a new mailbox with OUR name on it, instead of our former owners. So these pictures were taken in commemoration of the event.

The weather started getting cooler, so we fixed our wood stove and got it running. That brought us to our next project -- getting wood. We didn't haul it all with our car, a church member has a small pickup and they came and helped us too.

Mike and Danielle with more logs. It was hard work, but we managed to cut, load, and deliver nearly 2 cords of wood to our house in one day! Still have more to get later.

Thanksgiving Day, we went to Daniel's parents for the afternoon. The following day, we had relatives over for another Thanksgiving dinner at our house! Sorry, this is the only picture we got.... The leaf arrangement was pretty though!
