Home Sweet Home

Our rustic hemlock cabin is constructed of rough lumber. With trees all around, the few neighbors we do have are completely hidden from view.
Driving down the highway toward our place, here is one of the closest towns to us--the metropolis of Parkers Lake! (Don't worry, there's a larger town a few miles further.)
The camera never does a beautiful view justice, but if you come visit us, you'll be sure to see a few of these ridges along your way. Here they are--all decked out in fall colors!
You are now on a narrow road--just big enough to squeeze past an on-coming car if it's a small one. We're just thankful it's paved!
Here's the driveway--our mailbox is that little dot at the bottom of the hill, and you can see our house hiding in the trees just beyond it. We are blessed with asphalt and county road right to our mailbox! God is good. :)
Here's Daniel clearing out a spot for one of our little garden plots in the backyard. We're working on building up the soil right now and hope to have two small garden plots and a flower bed going in the next year or so!
Here's one of our little clearings... We hope to make one of them into a campfire pit with log benches for Sabbath evening vespers. Maybe you can join us sometime!
We don't want to wear you out, so lets come inside! Here's what you see when you first enter the front door. Our entry way walks into our dining room.
