Hiking, Working outdoors with Levi

Daniel and Levi burning brush piles on our property (this one is in our front yard, from all the trees and brush we cut down last winter).
Ornamental Pear trees bloom beautifully white all over our area in early spring--this one is next to our house.
The flower bed finally getting something planted in it!
Our first little garden spot--a salad garden! Kale, Collards, Lettuce, and Spinach are planted in those four little rows.
Our forcythia bush bloomed brightly, despite the heavy pruning earlier this spring.

Our first April hike we took with Daniel's family out to Dog-Slaughter Falls.

We took a week-day picnic and history field trip with Levi to Blue Heron Coal Mining Camp.

On Sabbath we stopped at the old railroad bridge at Yamacraw, on our way to go hiking with friends.

This time our hiking consisted of exploring the woods--partly without trails.
When the trail leads you to a wall, you either climb over it, under it, or squeeze through it! (Our group did all three!)
And when it goes off a ledge, you either climb down it or swing down a vine!

Our hiking group consisted of Danielle, Jimmy, some of their neighbor friends, and us. We had a blast!
