We drove back home during a torrential rainstorm that caused major flooding all over KY and TN. The next morning we heard what sounding like thunder from across the holler...

It was a beautiful day for photos! Since Pastor and Mrs McComb were visiting us, we decided to hike around and see what the other water falls looked like.

Then we headed down the trail towards Eagle Falls, wondering if we could get there.

Full view of the flooded river. Pretty impressive! This river goes all the way to Nashville... now you know why they flooded so badly (they had all this besides all the rain they got)!

We got to the end of the trail and found the stairs going right into the water...

We took a higher trail and made our way to the top of the falls. Talk about a lot of water coming over that little falls!

On Friday we did our third health fair for the year--this time the diabetes fair in Somerset! We had a group from the church in Somerset come and help, which was a real blessing. Here Daniel is doing a consultation with someone about their health age.
On Friday we did our third health fair for the year--this time the diabetes fair in Somerset! We had a group from the church in Somerset come and help, which was a real blessing. Here Daniel is doing a consultation with someone about their health age.
We did blood pressure checks, body fat ratio, lung capacity test, and health age, besides literature free and for sale.

We ended up giving out over 950 pieces of literature by the end of the day, over 100 health age tests, and saw close to 500 people! God is good. :) It was so much fun to help our community!

The next Sabbath found us hiking to Natural Arch in a rainstorm. Thankfully we were under the arch during most of the rain, so we didn't get too wet.

Strawberry picking and freezing was a lot of fun this year! We did two days of picking and freezing and ended up with a nice supply. So thankful for Susan's help picking and Justina's help cutting!

We made a quick trip to Arkansas and back to pick up Elisabeth (20 hr of driving total in one day!) Here's a couple pictures we took along the way.

On Sabbath we hiked out to Dog-Slaughter Falls again, to see the wildflowers, and because there would be water to cool off at the end of the trail.
