Jennita was canvassing in Richmond, KY so Kristina brought her down for the weekend. So nice to have her here!
Wish you could hear the deafening roar of the falls! You can see it boiling at the bottom.
Welcome to the Cumberland Falls gift shop! We have an amazing junk yard art gallery, that you won't find anywhere else! :)
Woof!
The authentic Kentucky Fried Chicken!
Daniel decided that Kristina's chair needed a facelift. So he put turbos on the back of it, made a "Kristina Mobile" sign on each side of it, and even added race car sound effects! ROFL
Jennita and Kristina made pizza for Sabbath Dinner. It was a birthday dinner for Daniel's mom.
Hawaiian Pizza...
Vegetable/Pineapple Pizza
And Veggie-Deluxe. You hungry yet? Oh, and we had mango ice cream for dessert... ;)
David and Kristina B stealing a few moments to talk.... until Daniel stole a picture of them. ;)
We took everyone on a hike to Princess Falls to see some more spring flowers.
The blue sky and sunshine made everything so pretty!
Another Trout Lilly
We took our time and stopped to examine the flowers along the way.
Another trillium--there were many different varieties
A yellow trillium
Dutchmen's Britches...... does that look like a clothesline?
Dad taking a photo of all the Dutchmen's Britches along the bank.
Must have been a big load of laundry......
David and Kristina enjoying the waterfall.
Fiddleheads...
Wood Violets.
Another violet

Destination reached--Beautiful view of Princess Falls from the creek.
Daniel and Kristina with their happy family. :)
More Rue Anemone
Budding leaves.
Layers of sandstone and minerals.
Jennita and Kristina enjoying some rest together.
Lucas and Alex on their computer.
Now we know who the sneaky photographer is! He caught Lucas by surprise! lol
Looks like he caught David and Kristina B by surprise too!
Kristina, with our friend Susan's help, decided to do some stenciling in the bedrooms. A storm came through and blew out the power, so she did it by oil lamp!
There she is......
And now she's gone!
Daniel used the flash on this picture, so you can see the stencils better. This is in the guest room.
Almost finished!
David says, "I can help!"
The spring peepers are out! We love to hear their singing at night.
If Kristina sounds groggy when you call her on the phone.... this might be why ;)
Claws making sure that nothing disturbs the flowers...
Garden is getting bigger!
Now it's time to plant the backyard garden!
Amazingly, in all that awful clay, the bushes are surviving!
Flowering quince in the front yard.
Kristina took advantage of some free time to start sewing curtains. This piece of material was intended to be an Indian Sari, but was too short, so we put it to good use.
There they are--in our bedroom! You can faintly see the stenciling on the walls, too.
Next up, curtains for the living room. Looks so nice having curtains in the big picture window now! Can't wait to get the others done!
Another neat moon photo.
We drove to Tennessee for our friends, David and Caroline's wedding on their family farm. This was their get-away vehicle. :)
We didn't take any photos of the wedding, but we got some during the reception. :)
Kristina talking with friends.
Photograph session. (The guests, bridesmaids and the bride all had to hike up that hill to get to the wedding!)
David and Caroline.
The yummy wedding cake and fresh strawberries from their farm!
Cutting the cake.
Feeding each other.
We're SO happy for them both!
Allison and Alexander singing special music.
Ready for the getaway!
Here they come!
We doused them with birdseed!
Climbing into the wagon.
Ready?
We walked behind them down the hill, singing scripture songs.
Then they went down the road, while we took a short cut through the woods.
Heading to the road.
Here they come!
We followed them down the road at a fairly quick pace, singing more songs.
The little ones rode in the wagon with them.
We finally arrived at their real get-away vehicle! Their car. :)
The kids all piled in the wagon for another ride. We headed back to our car and drove to Israel and Kyla's house.
Kristina had a blast being babysitter again. :) Miranda has grown big since we saw her last!
Kyla and Miranda.
David taking his turn at babysitting.
He had fun. :)
Israel's shop.
Taking a look inside.
Kyla and Israel (and their cat)
Kristina babysitting one last time before we headed home.
It was so much fun making Miranda laugh!
Miranda is learning how to pet the cat.
The cat endured it for quite a while!
But she finally had enough and walked off.
Voom, voom! I'm going to be like Daddy when I grow up!
Watching Daddy from Mommy's lap
Parting shot as we drove away
David sleeping on his Nepali language book...
Daniel staying awake at the wheel...
Siobhan enjoying the scenery
Our black snake still lives under the house and has finally made his appearance this spring! Nice to know he's still around to kill all the mice, rattlesnakes, and copperheads. :)
He's getting longer too!
Klingbeil girls enjoy playing with Claws when they come over. She humors them quite well.
Peek-a-boo!
I see you!
Sabbath evening candlelit dinner.... smoothie parfait with sliced bananas and popcorn on the side!
Guess who walked up our driveway this morning?
Kristina taking a break from gardening to chat with Lucas.
The garden is growing! The middle is lettuce, spinach, collards, and kale--ready for their first picking. The outsides are tomatoes, marigolds, and cabbage plants.
The butterflies like the garden too!
We headed down to Southern for a quick visit for graduation weekend.
We had a fun Saturday night with Joe Reeves and his family and friends.
Uh oh... another photographer...
