Our garden FINALLY dried out! So Tammie brought her tiller over and helped us get all the aged sawdust tilled into the hard clay. Her girls played follow-the-leader behind her.
Nearly finished! Amazing transformation...
Garden complete--ready for planting (which we did the same evening!)
13 rows of greenbeans, 1 row of okra, and 2 hills of cucumbers all planted. :) Now... we'll see how they grow!
Luna moth on our bedroom window
Daniel climbing a friend's mulberry tree, trying to shake the branches.
Daniel in the tree and Kristina with the rake to beat the low branches.
Mulberries dropping on the tarp.
Collecting them for the bucket
Kristina picking out the bugs while Susan checks her phone...
There they are!
Back at home, Kristina sorted them, washed them, and made 4 pies and 17 pints of jam! Yummy....
Wild Rose
Lucas got to enjoy one more canoe trip with us before he headed back to Austria.
Canoeing down Fishing Creek with Daniel's parents.
We paddled mostly downstream, so it was smooth sailing.
