A bird we saw along the shore.

He did some nice posing for the camera, too!
We saw lots of great blue heron.
It was a perfect day out!

He was trying to tell us something...... I think we made him nervous.

A bunch of swallows flew over our heads, eating the pesky bugs.
Mom found a turtle stranded on a rock outcropping. So she picked it up and gave it a ride to solid land.
He seemed VERY happy to crawl again!
