Pastor Gary and his wife singing special music.
Marble tired after a long afternoon playing while Kristina harvested the garden greens.
Yes, Marble is Kristina's Baby, much to Claws disgust. She's really filling out and has such an adorable personality! She follows us everywhere, purring the whole time!
No more remnants of the skin and bones who arrived at our house meowing for food!
She is SOOO pretty!
Claws sat there for 10 or 15 minutes watching those birds.
Kristina enjoying the fresh air
while Daniel takes the pictures. :)
Sun setting in our front yard.
Kristina multitasking (as usual).
A Groundhog who lives in a hole near where Kristina parks her car, when she works at the Health Food Store in Somerset.
Kristina's Mother and her friend Pam were at Uchee Pines as patients for 2.5 weeks, so Kristina drove down and surprised them!
Mother was surprised, but Pam wasn't. :)
Kristina's scratch artwork.
Hiking the Steps to Christ trail Sabbath afternoon. This is the "I AM" circle.
The circle is surrounded with these little wood signs--all having different "I AM" Bible verses.
Dr. Boutet and his family went with us.
Kimberly was another one that Kristina had fun surprising down there--everyone was very happy. :)
At the end of the trail... He is risen!
the Empty Tomb.
Kimberly taking a rest.
Sharing nature lessons together at the outdoor theater.
Singing Scripture songs.
Saying goodbye before driving back.
Goodbye Kimberly!
Another roadside picture taken by Daniel as he drove home from Church while Kristina was gone.
David and Kristina B. came to visit for a few days, to share with us their wonderful news--they're ENGAGED!! :D
Pastor Gary with our "boys", Frankie and Travauris, just before their baptism.
What a joyous day!
We didn't get any pics of our trip down to TN for Elder's training, but here's Daniel tired out after a long, busy weekend!
Another Roadside shot by Daniel--someone definitely had some imagination and creativity!
Mooooooo!!
Beautiful Roses that Daniel bought as a surprise for Kristina
Thanksgiving day, we went to Daniel's parents' house. Timothy and Andrew had come down the night before, and Kimberly came up just before we left, so we had a fun group! Here Dad is making his famous salad. :)
Timothy brought cranberry relish and gluten steaks.
Dad made his special salad in a bowl that he made himself!
Dad also made two apple pies. This one says "Happy".
This one says "T-Day".
Kristina and Daniel made a pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, and gravy. We had plenty of yummy food to eat!
Dad had some extra pie dough, so he made his favorite pie-dough cookies as a treat. :)
Kimberly admiring the food.
Andrew supervising the kitchen.
While we waited for the food to warm in the oven, everyone did their own thing. Kimberly got online...
Dad, Kristina, and Andrew chatted while Mom took a nap...
and Daniel and Timothy talked computers in the office.
This was our first time all together since last Thanksgiving. This photo is our favorite pose.
Here's pose #2
Here Dad and Timothy are trying to hold up the swing...... this was just a funny pose. ;)
Here's pose #3, which happened to be our second favorite.
Our last pose was rather unique--Daniel and Kristina climbed the tree!
Kimberly was great at coming up with funny ideas... the rest were great at the funny faces! :)
Daniel and Kristina posed for their own photos after the rest were done. :)
We really do love each other--a lot! :)
On Friday, we took Kimberly through our nature trail in the woods.
Marble loves taking walks with us, so she came along too!
Kimberly helping to make the salad for Sabbath dinner.
Our simple, but yummy Sabbath meal. :) (and our last meal with Thanksgiving decorations)
Mmmmmm! Kristina's favorite salad. :)
The day was beautiful and warm, so we took Kimberly on a hike out to Buzzard Rock. The trees look bare without their leaves!
Kimberly taking in the scene with her camera.
Daniel and Kristina enjoying some relaxation. :)
Even without the leaves, the view is still pretty!
Kristina and Kimberly
The wind was blowing hard up there!
Claws enjoying a warm spot in the car when we got home.
After dark, it was time for our favorite after-Thanksgiving activity: Turn on the Christmas music and bring in the Christmas tree!
Fresh cut from our woods!
We got a smaller tree this year, so had to work at it to fit it in the stand!
Kristina and Kimberly worked to take down the Thanksgiving decorations and put up the Christmas decorations while Daniel set up the tree in the living room.
Then Kristina started putting the lights on the tree, with Kim's help...
While Daniel put the lights up outside the window.
Marble climbed the ladder to assist in the process. She had a blast chasing the dangling lights!
By the time Daniel came back in, Kristina had all the lights and tinsel up, and was ready for the snowflakes.
Kristina and Kimberly hung snowflakes, while Daniel took pictures. :)
Doesn't it look pretty?!
The LAST snowflake.
After stringing the lights over the window, the living room was complete!
Daniel went outside to get a picture...
of Kristina and Kimberly through the window.
Sparkles of light! We LOVE this time of year! :)
