Our bedroom has a totally new look! We'd been hunting for a nice quilt/bedspread (that we actually liked AND could afford) since we've been married. Down at Pigeon Forge we found a quilt barn and here's the result! :D
Amy came to stay at our house for a month. We thoroughly enjoyed having her! Of course, we had to take her to our favorite spot--Buzzard Rock. :)
Daniel at Buzzard Rock.
Dogwood trees blooming.
Amy hiding from the sunshine.
We also took Amy to visit Cumberland Falls--the Niagara of the South.
Another miracle. Daniel sold his old green car and God led us to a wonderful used 2008 Honda Fit down in TN. Now Daniel has a reliable car for all the miles he drives for work!
Another one of Daniel's photos on the job--he gets such nice views from his "office window"!
More of Daniel's on-the-job scenery photos.
A waterfall along the road.
One of the rabbit trails Daniel's GPS took him on, trying to find an address.
More scenic views.
Daniel loves his job!
Another roadside waterfall.
An old rickety bridge Daniel had to cross.
Made it to the other side!
An old railroad tressel converted into a road bridge. It was quite a shock to run into the first time--seemed almost too narrow to cross!
Yikes!
Made it across!
Another rabbit trail found by Daniel's GPS.
Where does it think it's going?
Getting worse...
Here, GPS said to go straight (through the wire gate) and drive two more miles. Fortunately, Daniel didn't obey. :)
Kristina got another haircut! Her hairdresser, Jordon, loves to play with Kristina's hair once it's cut! :)
Daniel's Parents came and joined us for a Sabbath afternoon bike ride.
A cute little cemetery along a forest road.
Checking out a point of interest along the way.
Mom on her Bike.
Kristina on her bike.
Daniel on his bike.
Headed up the gravel road.
We went on a hike with Amy down to Yahoo Falls.
Daniel in the trail.
Amy taking a break.
Yahoo Falls--flowing quite nicely.

Looking up at the top of the falls.
Kristina enjoying the view.
Daniel found his viewpoint way up on the boulders.
This was Daniel's view.
Wild Irises.

Kristina enjoying the view.
Daniel taking his turn.
Kristina took this sunset photo out in our front yard.
And this one was just up the road.
Amy playing her flute for special music at the nursing home.
Kristina mowing the lawn--we had a cold front come through so she had to bundle up to stay warm on the mower!
Mowing the nature trail.
The flowers were so pretty--we felt bad mowing them!
All of Kristina's flowers ready to be planted in the flower beds after the last frost goes away. :) Marble was watching them to make sure that no leaf moved at all! lol
The end of April found us down in Dayton, TN for David and Kristina B's (soon to be Kristina A) wedding weekend! Here Kimberly, the wedding coordinator, was putting Daniel in his place! lol
Kristina (Matron of Honor) and Kim working out details before the rehersal.
Daniel helping out and dishing out advice.
Not all the advice was necessarily useful... lol
Kimberly, her Mom (Mother Teresa as we called her), and Kristina working out platform arrangements.
Mark came and we put him to work immediately! We were SO thankful for his willingness to help!
"Mother Teresa" put in long hours, as well!
Everyone waiting for everyone else to arrive so we could start rehearsal.
Friday evening, Robert, Jephthae, Mark, Siobhan, and a few other friends came with us to hang out at Ernie's house. The neighbor's turkey put on a show for everyone.
Sabbath afternoon, Kristina was tired, so she got some rest in the back of the car, while her "girls" all came and kept her company. Melissa, Esther, and Jennita.
Kristina with her girls!
David's Mom and a few others at the Sabbath afternoon picnic.
Danielle talking to a friend.
Mark, Mrs K, and Siobhan getting food ready.
Kristina visiting with her girls, and David Y--Melissa's husband.
Autumn and Diogo.
Mark hard at work.
We went behind the lodge after lunch to take in the scenery.
Surprise shot!
It was very comfortable there on the lodge deck.
Daniel and a few others went for a hike. Gracie found a friend on the trail!
A friendly snake also was found.
The pond was so pretty!
Titus being a monkey--as usual! :)
The two moms walking together
After lunch, there was a special musical program. It was amazing!
Talking with friends after the music program, before heading back to Ernie's house for the evening.

Some of their wedding gifts.
The reception serving tables.
The food was really yummy!
Everything was beautifully decorated, too!
A cute little squirrel.
A beaver.
An adorable owl!
Mark was our sound man and assistant Emcee until Daniel and Kristina could come in and take over. Here he is getting his orders from the wedding coordinator.
Daniel and Kristina arrived to take over the Emcee duties.
The wedding party table.
Cutting the cake.
Daniel and Kristina telling stories! That was so much fun! :)
Daniel and Ernie were in charge of the car, so they rounded up some helpers to join them.
Meanwhile, Kristina was inside helping David and Kristina A open and record their gifts.
The completed car!
David and Kristina A's faces as they saw it for the first time.
And away they go!
Goodbye!!!
But our work wasn't finished! After they left, we rounded up some of our friends and drove to David and Kristina A's trailer where they would be living after their honeymoon.
We wanted to make sure that it was all decorated and nice looking for their arrival.
We put a welcome banner in their living room, along with streamers. We also decorated their bookcase.
We filled their bedroom with balloons.
Kristina decorated their bathroom mirror with a Bible Verse: "Many waters cannot quench love." (Song of Solomon 8:7)
Levi and Gracie had a blast with the balloons.
Gracie even found places to hide the balloons!
Here's the final view of the living room and welcome banner.
We did other things too--hung pictures on their walls, filled their pantry with goodies, and then posed on the porch for a group photo before we all scurried home. :)
