It finally calmed down about halfway there, and the evening mist started to rise from the lake.
It was so pretty--the camera doesn't take it all in.

We made it back to our car, with only one inch of water that leaked in. PTL! This was our parting shot at the Laurel Lake Dam. You can see the sun setting and the mist rising from the base of the dam.
