We had a fun hot dog roast at our house with friends from Homemakers!
Kristina, Rita, and Sam.
Claws trying to join in, too.
Daniel roasting an apple.
Yummy roasted apples!
Bird feed war sequence on a frosty morning. Woodpecker claims the feeder.
Cardinal claims the feeder.
Woodpecker and cardinal meet...
This is my feeder!
Shhhh! He doesn't know I'm up here!
These pics were all taken through the window from inside the house.
We live trapped a raccoon! (We found it a new home several miles away and released it.) Marble wasn't sure what to think!
We went hiking with some friends out near Blue Heron Coal Mines. Here's a view from the coal tipple bridge.
Ed and his fiancée
The whole group of us, minus Kristina
Another bridge photo.
The leaves had mostly fallen by now, but there were still fall colors.
Ed and Lianna
Us!
Climbing the steep rock.
Can Ed make it?
Success!
Fall leaves covered the ground.
Strange lichen on the tree.
The trail was really neat!
Rings on a rock?
Daniel standing next to the giant rocks.
A steep staircase along the trail.
Finally reached an overlook! The view was really nice up there!
You can barely see the coal tipple bridge in the distance.
There is a closer view.
Our car down in the parking lot!
More fall colors on the trail.
The bright green ferns made beautiful contrast with the fallen leaves.
Nearly back to the bridge.
We attended our friend Serena's wedding. Here you can see the bride and her Dad peaking over the balcony watching the preliminaries.
Pastor Fred inspecting the candles...
And relighting them!
The groom Eleazar, and Pastor Fred watching as the wedding party lined the walkway.
The bride marched in between all her bridesmaids and then they followed her up the aise.

And 13 groomsmen

The kiss
Instead of a unity candle, they had a special assortment of rocks and gems, representing the different qualities that each of them were bringing into the marriage,
Then they poured salt over the top.
Mr and Mrs!
Our little "sister" Lindsey was one of the bridesmaids.
Us at the wedding reception.
Serena's family, along with Serena and Eleazar sang several songs at the reception.
The happy couple!

Daniel doing dishes at home (which he does often!)
Gluten-free bread dressing for the cooking class
Our bird feeders have been very busy this fall!
The ornamental pear tree is always the last to loose its leaves. It is so pretty for Thanksgiving! Marble walked through the picture...
Thanksgiving dinner was quite the feast! Besides the usual mashed potatoes and gravy, and Timothy's gluten steaks, we had these cute pumpkin dinner rolls that Timothy made!
Kristina made bread dressing... Here's the toasted bread cubes...
And here's the bread dressing ready for the oven
And here it is, baked and ready to eat!
Kristina and Isaac made the pie
Yummy Coconut whipped cream!
In addition to Daniel's family, Isaac, and Moses who were here visiting us for the weekend, the Morris family dropped in to visit for a couple hours after lunch!
Kristina really enjoyed seeing Esther again.
After Morris' left, it was game time!
Daniel looks tired...
Half played scrabble and the other half played a different word game.
Timothy figuring out his word
Dad trying to guess Andrews word
Haha! Andrew seems pretty sure of his word
Daniel and Isaac checking out Dads pellet stove
Isaac and Moses playing guitar duets. Sounded so nice!
On Sabbath, we took Moses and Isaac to Natural Arch.
