She had to help us open the "gate" on our hunt the Christmas tree walk!

We sat out there, watching the sunset and reading stories until it was too dark to read. What a perfect way to end a wonderful hike!

Kristina experimented with a no knead bread recipe with raisins, apples, and cranberries!

We did another seminar and took our treasure chest along as a visual aid.

We flew to Washington state to spend Christmas with Kristina's parents. When we left KY this was the temperature outside... 69F!
When we arrived in WA state late that night, this is what we found! (A blizzard)
The next morning we woke up to no electricity and a total winter wonderland! It had snowed over 20 inches in 24 hours!
Daniel and Kristina all ready for church! We enjoyed doing special music for the Christmas program.
Kristina was happy to be able to play music with some of her friends!
We were just missing Kimberly!! Not the same playing without her...
Still happy together after over 31 years of marriage. :)

We went to visit some friends one afternoon, and took pictures along the Columbia River.
Pictures can never do it justice. We just wished it was a sunny day!

We were entertained watching our friend's cats chase chunks of melting snow off the car hood and windshield.
Guess that's one way to get the snow cleaned off the car!
Uncle Derral and Aunt Barbara came to visit for a day! It was nice to see them again.

Kristina made amazing gluten-free/oil-free cookies for a Christmas party! She posted the recipe as Gluten-Free Cookies #2. They were amazing!!

Kristina's parents cut down a cute tree from their woods for a Christmas tree.
We spent a fun evening together exchanging gifts. This was our first Christmas in WA since before our wedding, so it was special!
Our gift to Mother and Dad--A beautiful devotional of nature object lessons!
Kristina's gift to Daniel. :) Socks, lotion, and a coupon for a foot massage from her.
Kristina gave our little friend his first ride in a wheelchair!
Mother and Dad came with us to GYC, since it was in Seattle, WA this year. It was such a blessing, as always!
